folders that i had to rebuild from files due to re-install
I did a re-install and found it didn't bring back my folders from non- MSN
accounts. I had a back up of them and got them all back into WLMD. Will they
automatically sync with Msoft's servers at some point? If not, is there a way
to do that from our end so the next time I have to re-install they will all
be there? anyone know why I lost them? when I went to uninstall, I also
deleted the...

Live mail desktop crashes hangs after install of 90 day trial of Onecare
I installed Onecare 90 trial from Microsoft and since the install, live mail
desktop has been hanging and slow to respond when changing from mail
accounts, newsgroups, feeds etc. About a 5 second "freeze".
Anyone else have this problem?

Can I import contacts in csv form?
I have installed WLMD onto my laptop (very Handy idea) question is, can I
import contacts from my PC using a flash drive and saving the contacts as a
csv file?

What happen to the directory service setup?
I have been looking for the place in accounts where you can set up a
directory service. Has it been left out of the Windows Live Mail desktop or
am I just not finding it. ?????

Missing Folder
I am running Vista with Live mail desktop and synch with homail. The
bad news is that one of my folders is missing. I had renamed the
folder. In doing so I MAY have deleted it. The good news is that I had
just done a backup using Genie Backup Manager. How can I restore one
folder of mail and how will that effect the synching of Hotmail?

how do I delete imported items
I imported my mail account settings from outlook and they listed themselves
under the folder (on this computer) the contacts didn't display correctly
and the imported folders didn't list below the account that I wanted them
to. How do I delete the imported items?

Contacts problems
I installed Windows Live Mail today and seem to be having a few problems
with the imported contacts, Some are not displaying the contacts photo, also
the names are wrong on some, some are using the nick names and some with the
nicknames and ALT4 beside it.
Also if I alter a contact in Live Mail should it also update the contacts at
that are in my contact folder outside Live Mail?

Setup live mail behind proxy.
A bug perhaps?
I am behind a squid firewall that requires authentication each time i use
IE. Problem is that live mail will not let me authenticate, It just fires if
a dialog stating that 'starting for first time requires online connection'.
Running on 2003 server pro. Is there a workaround?
BTW. Why is it that MS dialog boxes will never copy text to clipboard when
pressing Ctrl-C ?...

cut and paste
I am not able to cut and paste or for that matter right click in windows live
mail. I was told to uninstall google tool bar but that doesn't help either....

Since the from address is easily forged, I'd like to block on the basis

"6 of 21 tasks completed" WMLD hangs. How to stop email sending
I opened and "sent" 3 emails containing photo files from Canon ZoomBrowser
through WMLD. Problem is the emails are NOT sending. I have a fast cable
connection so this is not just a slow upload of large photo files. No

Importing messages from OE6
I am trying to import all old messages from OE6 for several accounts.
I use the import wizard, select the appropriate folder where the messages
are stored, cleck "Next", and a progress bar shows the messages being
imported. I then see the window informing me "Import Comlete - Your messages
were imported in 'Microsoft Outlook 6 format'." I click "Finish".
