Possible bug(?)
Well, I like WLM but am not sure I'll keep using it until I HAVE to or
when it's out of beta :-) I'm just happy with OE, although the new
client is nice-looking!
Anyway I think I found a bug, or glitch (sorry, I'm not used to
reporting such things) when I click on a message, the envelope icon
next to it becomes garbled. I'm including screenshots of the icon.

copy to folder option won't work in Newsgroups
While working in newsgroups, I frequently find a message I'd like to copy to
my local folders, but when you right click the message and and select Copy
to Folder, all you get is a blank directory window. Nothing to select.
Can't copy message. This was a defect in the earlier build as well.

More Ribbon space... and put the search bar back whrer it was.
1. Remove the users name and image from the tool ribbon and it'll allow more
room for the tool buttons. Besides, the image is so small it can't be
recognized for what it is anyway.
2. Put the search bar back up into the title bar, and you'll have more room
for messages, and it will look better, too. Arrrrrrg to the in the parlor
ggggg! Same old game... when will they ever learn ?

"Reply" and "Forward" buttons not working in newsgroups
Guys,
If I'm viewing a newsgroup post (in this newsgroup, for example) and hit the
"reply" button to reply via email to the original sender, I get this
message:

Importing problem
WLM looks a very good client - can't wait to see it out of BETA. Anyway after
several attempts at installing because of the install problem many are
experiencing I finally got it installed ok. Except when I loaded the client
non of my accounts, emails or contacts had been imported from Outlook
Express. I hope this problem will be solved if this client is suppose to be a
replacement for O...

HTTP Server can't be changed?
Why is it that the latest version (including the older ones) keep using the
http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v1.0.0/sync.aspx server for HTTP even
if I manually changed it to something else? Is this a bug? Can this field be
edited at all?...

Windows Live Mail won't start
My problem is that, at the beginning, I did'nt check the box to connect using
a windows live account. When I try to launch the program, an installation
window keeps appearing and going off, several times. Finally, it crashes.
Seems like it can't check my account and tries continuously to verify the
account.
I tried unistalling and installing again, but that first settings window
doesn'...

Removal and Re-creation of email accounts
Is there an issue with this as I just removed and re-created an account and
it blew away all the emails in the account or is this something that can't be

STRANGE: Rules do not work for IMAP accounts
It is very uncommon, but I just found out that RULES only work for POP
accounts, and not for IMAP accounts. A lot of users are IMAP users and it
would be great if we could also make use of the RULES methodology...

1. Making some RSS item flagged doesn't reflects in "Unread feeds" (search
folder)
2. I used MSO Outlook 2007 to watch RSS, after installing WLM all rss feeds
appeared in it, but some of them can't be updated (feeds from iXBT.com). For
Outlook everything works fine.

Frequent "now must close" errors on message sends
I am having frequent "now must close" errors when I send a message or post.
WLM wants me to send in a report, and I have dutifully allowed it to do
so.... unfortunately, it takes almost 90 minutes to upload one on my
dial-up connection. I'm NOT getting much work done, because you can't use
WLM while the report uploads.

any mail prgoram that's all-in-one?
Is there any one mail program that can retrieve and send all of the following
accounts for use with Vista as a home user?
1. Hotmail
2. pop3
3. exchange
Outlook I believe does, but I don't want to have to sign in differently to
get exchange then sign in again to retrieve Hotmail, pop3. I would like to
open a program once and see all 3 at one time. Perhaps I am just not setting

Toolbar
I like WLM the ability to have different folders for each pop account is a
fantastic feature but I have a few things I like to ask/point out.
1) With Vista, WLMail, WLMessenger, and Windows Calender, Outlook 2007 feels
kinda overshadowed due to how much better the Live apps intergrate much
better with the OS.
2) Toolbar, the toolbar should be configurable such as the size of the
icon...

Wish collapsed accounts were bolded when new messages arrives
When one collapses an account in the left column, you can't tell if new mail
has arrived. Would be nice if there was an option to make the account name
bold when one of the folders within the account has a new message in it.

WLM changes "Contacts" folder in Vista
After installing Windows Live Mail and adding multiple accounts with Windows
Live, Contacts folder in Vista becomes hidden and default folder icon changes
to yellow icon. Is it a known bug or only happens to me? Are there any
solutions?...

WLM Beta Just Won't Complete Installation
WLM goes through several reiterations of configuring for install. The app
pops up briefly then several more reiterations of configuring. It "installs"
but when first launch it crashes with a final error message of "Windows Live
Mail has has stopped working ...."
I've tried several reinstallations, deleting the install folders,
disconnecting from the internet, re-downloading the insta...
