Can anyone at MS confirm that they are reconsidering letting us customise
the toolbars of WLM in future releases?

Use with Gmail
Hi,
WLM works fine when gmail is set up as a pop3 account. However, I couldn't
get it to work at all if trying to set up gmail as a web-based (http) account.
Has anyone been able to use WLM with Gmail as an http account?

Problem with minimize to tray?
Hello,
Using the latest beta (12) with the option "Hide window when Inbox
minimized" whenever I play a game or launch any fullscreen application the
WLMD window re-appears on the taskbar. It's supposed to be minimized on the
system tray.

Can't find attachments
I am trying to attach Word documents to my emails and it says "Cannot Find
File. Send anyway?"
These are not big files at all. I have to go back into my old OE and send
the files that way.
Any ideas?...

Email sent changes letters
i just switched to windows live mail last night and i have one contact that i
sent many emails to and all my messages were garbled to look like this

sending email pictures
When I send a picture it sends an img,but also includes in the text a very
large picture of the img..this take a long time to send and locks up my
hotmail,if I send more than 1 picture..anybody know how to fix??.....

Feature Request: Subscribe to Messenger Contacts' spaces
This feature used to be available in the Windows Live Mail Desktop, but now
no longer available in Windows Live Mail beta (or at least I have not found
it). It's a very nice feature and I would like to see it back.

Message Rules
Would there be some way to make creating/editing message rules easier? For
example, I want to create a rule that will filter messages from a contact of
mine to a folder I created. However, this contact has multiple email
addresses, so when I go to create the rule, I can add the contact's primary
email address fairly easily, but there appears to be no way to easily add
his other email add...

Can't search in new build
I downloaded the latest build (12.0.1184) And when in a newsgroup, if I type
some term in the search box, the left folders pane returns to the mail
accounts view, while the left area keeps displaying the newsgroup I was in,
without any filtering based on what I searched for. When I try and search
again, it limits the search to the last mail folder I had selected before I
went into newsgr...

Old messages missing
Hi, I just installed WLM today and the install went smoothly. I have XP,
Outlook Express 6 previously. All my offline folders imported correctly, but
each one is missing approximately the last year's worth of messages! Most
have mail going up to some point in 2006, but that's it! Obviously this is a
bit of a deal-breaker for me. Is there a way to fix this issue, or should I
just use...

Live Mail Desktop reveals MAJOR privacy issues at Hotmail
I have recently installed Live Mail Desktop beta. When I added my MSN and
Hotmail accounts to Live Mail Desktop you would not believe what happened!
Messages that have been deleted for up to a year or more from both accounts
show up in my Live Mail Desktop folders! It appears as though Microsoft is
keeping emails that I have deleted!
Any explanation for this one, Microsoft?

Background picture not tiled in WLM 12.0.1184
WLM 12.0.1184 on WXP SP2
This beta version does not tile background pictures in my composed emails.
All the background images I used to use are now useless for me as they are
too small. Has no one else noticed this? What is the point of this if it is
deliberate?

Corrupted Mailbox and No Folders to View
I just upgraded to version 12.0.1184 and noticed that I got an error stating
that mailbox was corrupt and no folders to view. It also was trying to
reinstall itself looking for WL_mail.msi file.
I reinstalled, and then it downloaded all the messages again stored for my
acct. as being unread. Even those deleted. Does anyone have any ideas?...

I am unable to log in to give the suggestion to the Windows Live Mail team.

run OE and WLM simultaneously?
For now I want to keep my OE as my main, default program and have seen a few
postings where installing WLM seems to screw up OE performance.
Would you recommend installing WLM now (just to try it out), or wait until
its further along??

Sound On email arrival
Anyone had this problem, and solved it. Sound selected by me a wav file
plays when a new message arrives. It worked fine under Windows mail with
Vista. Have re-installed it but still no luck.

Bug: links in messages won't link
Virtually none of the links in my newsletters are working for me. When I
hover over a link, the
hand" symbol displays, but nothing happens when you click on them. Out of
all the links in a New York Times, a Seattle Times, and an Anchorage Daily
News, only one link worked.
I running WLM on Windows XP sp2 with IE 6.

Start menu default mail problem!
We all know that we can show the default browser and e-mail in the top of
the Start Menu. It also for WLMD (version 8.xxxxx), but in the new version
(12.0.1184), I can't set in the Start Menu Property and customize to show
