IE 6 - Clearing the History Trail Ain't a Workin
I want to purge my history and did what the "help" file said... (below).
But then when I enter a website in the add dress line, the dang thang still
suggests sites I done awl reddy bin too!! Any way to 'really' clear the
list? Win 2000 Prof

OE6 - Deleting Email/Postings with One Step
With older versions of OE, I could highlight an email or posting and hit
"delete" and that was it. With OE6, I have to keep confirming over and
over. Is there an override setting somewhere for OE6 to let us delete
postings with one delete keystroke?

Outlook Express 6 - Emails received
When I get an Email with a link, I click the link but I do not get any
response.

emailing from contact list
Greetings.
I wonder of someone could help me. I have been emailing just fine from
within my contacts in Windows Mail (Outlook Express?-Vista) and all of a
sudden, I click on the contact I want to send an email to and it adds their
name and contact info to the email. I don't know how this happened...but I
want it to go back to the way it was...hi-lite a name and click on email and

pop3 and smtp server names
Cannot send or receive mail, message indicates server or
network problems saying connection lost.
Ran 'telnet' and 'ping' diagnostics for 'pop3.email.msn.com'
and could not connect to host. This indicates to me that the
server names do not exist anymore.
Can I get the new server names???

No email retrieval.
Outlook Express used to retrieve my Roadrunner email automatically whenever
I opened the program, but for the last few months I've been getting the

Keeps saying password is wrong
For a year outlook Express has been retrieving my mail from my HughesNet
account with no problem. Now everytime it starts to retrieve it, it says my
password is wrong and to log in. I've checked my password in the account
properties and everything looks okay. Any suggestions?...

problems sending email
Help! For the last 3 days I've been unable to send out email from Outlook
Express 6.0 I get the following error message:

Can receive but can not send emails - no error message
All of the sudden I can not send emails in OE6. I have windows XP. I
receive emails but found out that everything I think I have sent (shows up in
the sent folder) doesn't really go anywhere and I don't get an error message

OE cannot show Yahoo smiley; whose fault?
Using "rich text" format in Yahoo ("compose messages as color and
graphics"), I composed and sent a message that included a smiley icon,
not a character-graphics smiley; that is, not :-). When I read the
message using OE, the smiley icon is replaced by a graphics image
placeholder; that is, an icon showing a box with a red "x" in the
middle.
Is this normal? Or is there something I can do...

loss my explorer tool bar
can anyone help me with this problem? i have a dell latitude/d600, i think i
pickup a virus and i went to down load a security patch and i now have the
security download as a toolbar and can not get back to msn which is my home
page. i went back in to download again my window xp due to it would come up
and the security load is stopping it, also i deleted the cookies, is this
stopping me ...
