Outlook Express backup question
Win XP --
If I back up the Outlook Express folder under Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{....}\Microsoft\, is that good enough to reconstitute all
my Outlook Express messages, files, and folders if the HD crashes?

Hello.
I'd like to create a signature at the bottom of my emails sent with Outlook

It's a Bitmap image and I need to change it into HTML file in order to set

strange dupes issue with attachments
One of my users is having a strange issue. When she sends out emails
with attachments *some* of the recipients (if not most of them)
receive duplicate messages. Some of the users are using OE some are
using Outlook. It doesn't seem to make any difference. I am using
Outlook 2000 myself and am NOT getting duplicates from her, while my
boss is using the latest version of Outlook and *is* gettin...

deleted dbx folder and deleted items.dbx
Hello,
I hope someone can answer this question: I deleted one of my dbx folders,
and wondered if the emails would be in "deleted items.dbx". I know
individual emails would go in there, but could not find any information
dealing with what happens when a folder is deleted and if the emails go
into the deleted items.dbx.
The "deleted items.dbx" is about 35mb so there's lots of stuff, but...

Help! E-mails downloading over and over again
In the past two months, I open OE6 and EVERY PIECE OF E-MAIL I've had comes
loading down into my mailbox. I used to be able to just down load the new
mail (and keep the already downloaded mail).
I've checked the Synchronization - it's set to New messages.
Any other suggestions?...

reading in html
Using OE6 in XP.
As one of my security precautions I have for years read all my emails in
text mode irrespective of how they are sent. However there are certain
emails from known sources that I like to read in their original HTML
format. For these, after I open them, I go to "View" and click on read
in HTML. The shortcut Alt-Shift-H is too clutsy for me to remember or
use.

Where are Messages Stored?
I'm sure this has been asked many times, but I never had to try to restore a
system before. All of my data files were backed up in a folder, but I don't
know where to go look for my old OE messages or Address Book.
Does anyone know where they were originally stored? My folder names are
still defined under a higher folder name so the files should still be in the
folder they were origin...

I would like to know: How can I find a free server that provides a
specific newsgroup?
Eg. I know that there is the NG alt.satellite.gps.garmin

New Newsgroups
Whenever I click a news group under the folders
in OE 6, it comes up with a screne message that
"There are new newsgroups" I never use to see this
message automatically before.
Anyway to stop it?

Virus activity
I am facing a problem in my computer may be due to virus and that is a
folder named new folder is created in the my drive and it is duplicated

Working Offline every time OE opens
Hi I am running Outlook Express 6 on my terminal server and every time a
user opens up their OE they get a message stating,
"Would you like to go offline?
