Outlook Express wont open
When I click on my OE icon I get the blue flash screen then a white box on
top saying: Outlook Express has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
There is no way I can get it to open. I have tried debugging, rebooting,
sfc scannow, uninstalling and reinstalling and now dont know what else to
do. Something is obviously corrupted. Can I just dow...

Attachments sent don't register
Ok, I have XP with IE7. My main email is a gmail account, and I use pop3.
Just a couple of days ago I noticed that whenever I send an email with an
attachment, OE tells me it did not go through, says there was an error, (but
it doesn't say what the error was) and the email stays in the outbox. But if
I go to the web and check my sent items from gmail...there is the email that
OE said did...

Folders Outlook Express
In the folders section of Outlook Express the inbox section folder is
expanded. How can I collapse the Inbox section. Clicking the minus box of
Inbox does the trick but the next time I open Outlook Express the Inbox is
expanded showing folders of the inbox.

Folders list problem
As of a few days ago the folders list in Outlook Express (ver 6.0 and I have
Windows XP Home Ed.) will not stay open when I move my mouse cursor to select
a different folder. It immediately closes so if I want to open a different
folder I have to click ctrl+Y to open a window that lists all of the folders
and then I can go to the folder I want. This process works but it's tedious.

Outlook Express hangs with CA AntiSpam enabled.
Within recent weeks, Outlook Express has begun to hang (stays resident in
memory) and will allow switching identities or open on a second attempt.
This only occurs when Computer Associates AntiSpam software is enabled. This
is a recent development as CA AntiSpam and Outlook Express have worked
together very well for several months prior. Is anyone else having this

OEQB and wab file plus confused "Main identity" .......
Is there a specific place that OEQB looks for to find the wab file?
I ask because, long ago I moved my dbx files from whatever the default
location was to my data partition. OE6 knows where to find them and
there is no problem there.
Recently, learning from this newsgroup, I started to use OEQB to backup
my OE data for additional safety. When I start OEQB it starts by backing

OE Folders Don't Open for Incoming Messages
Some of my OE folders are not opening for new incoming messages. I noticed
one, "Family," wasn't about a month ago, but now two more are not opening.
Each has at least 8 sub-folders in it, and one has a great number of
sub-folders. I compact my folders, off-line, daily.
