Updates, OE 6.x, Live OneCare
Updates, OE 6.x, Live OneCare. Nothing works. Nothing updates.
For many years this HP PC with XP home worked perfect. But this week after
the latest MS Updates 3 things have broke.
1. Updates will not update. The MS Windows Updates pages hangs and will
not DL the updates.
2. OE 6.x will not DL the webbased email from: myname@msn.com
3. MS Live OneCare will not update.

e-mail error
iam getting the same thing my e-mail address then an outlook error can you
e- mail me at pathfinder4life@hotmail."An uknown error has occurred. Subject

Mail Won't Open
Windows 98, Outlook Express 6.
With Preview Pane disabled, double clicking the subject of a message in the
inbox... the message does not open. The subject does appear in the task
bar,
but can not be opened from there either.
The message text can be viewed/read with Preview Pane enabled.

Is there a way to change the order in which OE polls my email accounts? The
set order button is grayed out - is there another way to do it?

Error message opening OE 6.0.2900.3028
I work with a Notebook with WXP SP2 Home Edition OEM. Outlook Express was
working correctly but suddenly I could'nt start it any more. Two error
messages appears telling:

Mail Missing
All the mail in Outlook Express Incoming & Sent has disappeared although
it is still working. I can send and receive new ones but all the old
ones are gone. Is there anyway I can get them back ?

SMTP authentication
Hi,
hope somebody can help me please. Have Outlook Express 6 on a XP machine and
need to use SMTP authentication for sending out emails. Works fine when
entered and when restarting Outlook Express, but on computer restart, the
setting default back to using POP3 settings. In general the machine is
resetting my STMP setting on restart, can anybody help please.

Let me add that the only .wab I transferred to one of my SanDisks was an old
one, so I added the word "old" to the document. I was in a strange location
in My Documents.
I knew it was a former .wab because there were email addresses I had deleted
from the current one. thanks again

Font Color When Replying to Message Sent From Incredimail
Hi
Long subject I know but wanted to be sure I got it covered
When I go to reply to a person who has sent a message from Incredimail, the
font color is white.
I have to manually change the font color to black or another readable color.
The message is being sent on a white background and they are sending with a
black font.

Separating OE contacts from MSN messenger
Is there a way I could do to prevent OE from loading the email addresses
from my Windows Live Messenger? Each time I type an email address in
the To: field in my OE, it loads some of the email addresses from my
Messenger, which makes a greater chance for choosing a wrong email address.

HELP_OE error msg, can't find answer on searches.
