Failure notice
In the past, if I made a mistake with someone's e-mail address, I used to get

Desktop Icons.
When I try to move a desktop icon, by drag ,it moves just one space up
and moves all the rest on space.
I used to be able to move them where I wanted but alas I must have
done something wrong.
Can I remidy this?
Also.
Can I reduce them in size, they have become quite large.

can't use outlook express since changing new settings as required
I cannot use outlook express any longer; had to update my email settings as

how to set-up new email ID in the same ISP account?
I've had the same ISP for over ten years. I want to keep my present email
addy as is. No problems there.
However, how do I set up an additional email address on this (AT&T dialup)
ISP? I've tried several times but the account (established via "switch

Unread mail query
Just one of the various NewsGroups I monitor regularly reports a number of
unread messages which, when I click on the NG to see what's there, is
reduced by the order of 10. This isn't a lot when the reported number of,
say, 20 is reduced to 2 but is a lot when the reported number of 300 is
reduced to just 30.
Does anyone know how this discrepancy arises and why it occurs on only one

Photos as attachments
When sending an e-mail with photos attached, I'd like to have the photos not
inserted into the text field of the message. I'd like to send the photos just
as an attachment. I normally use 'Insert' than 'File attachment'. I tried
different other ways, I looked through the Help file and "Options' but cannot
find a way to switch it off (seeing the pictures in the text field of the
message)....

anti spam program
Despite loads of message rules, I still get a lot of spam. Can anyone
recommend a dent anti spam prog, to use on three computers at home, that
integrates with OE? I don't want to have to go to a web based email or web
site first to filter the spam. Norton anti spam worked fine but I don't want
to upgrade to the new internet security or 360 as that's far more than I
want. I don't mind pay...

Contact List - Adding a group
Hello,
I have followed the directions for adding a Group to Outlook Express 6 that
contains multiple email addresses.
I do everything as suggested, click ok, the box disappears, but nothing
happens. The group does not appear to save and/or show up in the address book
or in Outlook Express. And I do have Folders and Groups selected under the
View Menu. I am frustrated, please help!...
