storing old messages
Looking for a way to store some old messages on a disk that I can delete
from my Outlook, is there a way? Tried the Outlook Help and search here and

Looking for a "Msg Recvd" feature in e-mail program ?
I originally posted in Win XP thinking this was
linked to the Win program.
But I think it's more of an E-Mail problem.
A long time ago I used Netscape when I worked. It
had the ability to send
back a msg of "message read" when the recipient
opened their e-mail.
Didn't always mean they read my msg but at least I
knew they got it.
Assume Outlook Express or Outlook doesn't have
this...

Double Hotmail email mystery
I have noted that when initially retrieving emails, two of every email will
be listed and within 10 seconds or so, one of the duplicates disappears. I
thought that maybe through some kind of glitch that the emails may just LOOK
like their duplicates. But if I transfer them right away to a local folder,
they both are there in full and neither disappears from there.

Installing Talktalk broadband modem. USB vs Ethernet
If you're having trouble with USB broadband modem installation this
may help.
Talktalk sent me the HUAWEI SmartAX MT882 broadband modem - with both
USB and LAN/ Ethernet connections.

All Inbox Messages Missing; Running on Win 98

Before asking my questions below, please note I searched for threads that
might address how to recover the messages missing from my Inbox folder in OE.

any tool can tell me if I visited a website before?
Is there a tool that enables me to detect if a website I am visiting, I
visited before? Basically, if I visit the site, then visit the same site a
second time, the tool tells me. The browser color-codes a visited link,
but the color goes away, but this does not work when clicking a picture or a

Can't Send or Receive
I have been using OE. Now I can't get new messages into my Inbox. Verizon
(ISP)
tells me this is an OE issue. I can get messages in Verizon's e mail site,
but I want
to continue to use OE. In OE, I get an error message about POP3, etc.

Setting MS Word as HTML Editor in IE6

IMAP connection to Exchange not seeing Godaddy Cert.
to make a long story short, we installed a new Exchange 2007 server 2
months ago.
Our email admin (a stupid Mac guy that was using communigate) decided
to purchase and use a Godaddy cert for our Exchange server.
Godaddy certs are NOT in the Trusted Root Servers list in Windows.
Outlook clients work great after installing Godaddy's root cert in the

Email sub-folder disappeared and I can find it
I have a sub folder under the Inbox in OE that has suddenly disappeared with
all the stored files in it. I just noticed it, so I had to have happened
within the last week. I did not delete it and can see by postings that this
has happened to other people. I looked in the "store" folder and the name of
my sub folder is not there. It is not in the deleted items or the trash can.

Emailing pictures on Outlook Express 6
I've noticed lately that when I forward an email with a picture, the picture
doesn't go through. This never used to happen. And I don't know if the pic
went through until someone emails back that there was no pic. Anyone else

Address book
I use both Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express.
Both share the same address book by modifying WAB4.
But I see some missing addresses in OutlookExpress.
Is there anyway to tweak to show up all addresses in Outlook (i.e.,
contact)?

Printing from OE6
When I print an e-mail it comes out with the print control characters, not
as I see it on the screen.
