Passing existing session cookie to new instance of Internet Explor
Hi everyone,
I'm currently developing a desktop application (in C#, if that at all
matters) which gets XML documents via HTTP. This desktop application logs in
via HTTP POST and retrieves various XML documents generated on the web
server. This is all done using (for the most part) the .NET WebRequest class.
Now, all is well and good as long as I manually retrieve and display these

Target date to discontinue IE 6 support?
I haven't been able to find any kind of announcement from Microsoft that
indicates when they're planning to discontinue support for IE 6.x. It's
certainly possible that they haven't yet made such an announcement, but I was
hoping to find out if anyone knows if they have. I do realize that it could
be premature to think about retiring 6.x at this point in time... Thanks in
advance!...

Exception list problem in internet explorer in the Local Network
Hi,
We use the ISA proxy server to go to internet in the local network.
And we use group policy to control the IE settings.
I distribute the some settings for IE by GPO.
For example, I configure IE to use proxy server and I put a check on
"bypass proxy server for local addresses". And I add a few internal web
addresses
with their FQDNs into the exception list in order to bypass the prox...

IE7 Drops Typed Characters
I've seen this issue mentioned sporadically before, but have not seen any
resolution as of yet, so I thought I'd open it back up again and see what
happens.

IE7 will randomly drop characters or, in other words, even though you press
the key, IE7 misses it and doesn't input it. For example:

how to disable session on IE6

they don't exist at all. Are there browser settings within IE6 that

didn't seem to have any effect.
Thanks.
