IE6 still works, but iexplore.exe is gone from Program Files folde
I use IE6 (version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_grd.070227-2254). I noticed
recently that both my desktop shortcut and taskbar shortcut to Internet
Explorer had disappeared. I went to recreate them and discovered that there
is no more iexplore.exe in my Program Files under Internet Explorer!
I'm still able to use IE6 by going into one of my bookmarked sites, and have

Cookie settings - invalid domain name
Hi...
Under Privacy settings, when I attempt to change a site from "block" to
"allow" or vice-versa I get "You have entered an invalid domain" message.
All I can do is remove the site from the list.
The sites are put on the list by IE6 automatically when I choose whether to
allow or block cookies at the prompt. So why would they be invalid?
The only Microsoft article I could find just ...

IE 6.0 (& maybe others) getting lists to display inside of other e
This may be of interest to people trying to float elements in other elements.
IE 6.0 browsers do really bizarre things when you try to place a block-level
element (a list) inside of another (at least a non-block level) element--I
know you are not supposed to do this in html but I just noticed it was
bizarre (I'm going to try solving this issue by floating my list to the right

Google results differ from two versions of IE
I use Internet Explorer 6.0, fully updated. My friend uses IE 7.0, also
updated. Last night, we were having a friendly argument about, of all
things, Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot. So I told my friend to Google Sam
Elliot and I would do the same.
We had a large difference in the number of hits returned by Google. Why
would there be ANY difference at all?

Embed an Active Scripting Engine
Hi,
I'm experimenting a little bit with an alterntaive scripting language
in IE. The idea is to embed the scripts in HTML similiar to
JavaScript:
<script type="text/experimental">...</script>
Now, everytime IE sees scripts of this type, it should pass the code
to the scripting engine (i.e. in the same way as it passes JavaScript
code to the JavaScript engine). To me, it lo...

When advertising clips play in the video clips on MSN webpages, my IE6.0, SP1

MSN webpages? I am not having any problems on any other webpage video clips.

Why won't control+enter work?
It used to be that I could type in a name, like google, into the address bar
and when I hit control+enter, IE would wrap the name in http://www. and .com.
However, one day this week that stopped working. Now, it acts like I had
only hit enter. Does anyone know what happened and how I can correct it?
Thanks....
