Unable to access known www addresses through Google (OE6)

shrink to fit images awful
Can someone please tell me how to stop IE6 from 'shrinking' images in the browser? I often look at images with text and when IE takes the liberty to shrink them text often becomes unreadable. We have MSN Premium and are using MSN Mail. Whenever I first get into my mail, there are read messages in my inbox from last November.
