32bit to 64bit
I Purchased Home Premium for around $200. (tax incl.) and then ordered the
64bit ($13) when I replaced my motherboard.
I installed the 64bit, but then when I went to activate, it said that my
product key was already in use and that I had to purchase another one.
Am I REALLy supposed to pay another $200. for a product key?!?
That means $400 bucks.
Something does not make sense.
If someone ...

.net install problem
I can't get the 3rd rev (or perhaps level is a better word) of .net to

which I archived. It is
dotnetfx.exe and about24Mbytes. I installed this once. In the install,
there is a message:

I do not have a reset disk. Something happened during the shut down which
corrupted my password. How can I get into my computer. It is a stand alone

Changing drive icons in Windows XP Pro X64
Hi,
For an unknown reason, one of my hard drive icons has changed to a generic
icon in My Computer. Is there a way that I can change it back to the icon of
a drive? I know how to change icons in Properties for a folder but there's
no option to change the icon in Properties for a drive.

Can't print multiple copies in XP but can in 2000 on a client/serv
Hello, I'm trying to figure out a problem. A client is unable to print
multiple copies of a document in XP on the client inside a LAB but can in
2000.
Here is what I'd gathered.
Facts:
1. Can print multiple copies from the local drive.
2. Others can print multiple copies on their local drive
3. Can print multiple copies when in Windows 2000, from the client
4. Cannot print multiple...

ATI 7.3 Issues?
Anyone else noticing some issues with the latest ATI 7.3 drivers in Vista? I
loaded them on the Ferrari, and it's flashing the screen a lot, especially
in Windows Mail - select a new message and the screen flashes at least once,
maybe twice. This is as bad as the early beta drivers from that perspective.
I'm going to roll back to 7.2, but was wondering if I was the only one
seeing this?

The 64 bit question...
From the meager info I have gathered about my system (the two important
pieces being a Dell P965 BTX motherboard and intel Core 2 6700 CPU 2.66GHz),
it seems that I should be able to run Vista 64 bit. Can anyone here confirm
that? Not that I am looking to jump right into that, as I am already running
the 32bit Vista, but I am curious for future reference. My other question is,
should I d...

Traditional technologies support

If any of them is supported, does it have its own version that actually
