Whats the difference between Open and Explore in Vista?
Guys
I cant spot any difference between Open and Explore on the Start Menu!!!
I am running Vista Ultimate 64Bit
XP used to hide folders so is there a setting so I can make it look different?...

Please Help: I just installed XP64 on the new ASUS L1N64-SLI and I am getting
the following Error: Event ID 4191: IP Could Not Open the Registry Key for
Adapter TCPIP\Parameters\Adapters\NDISWANIP
Microsoft says to uninstall tcp/ip for the network adapter and reinstall it,
but it is grayed out. Nothing I do seems to get rid of the error. I have

XP pro x64 system crashing -- PLEASE HELP!!! UPDATE
Sorry for reposting, but my joy was short-lived. This morning, while I was
working, my PC crashed again... FFW to this evening, and now 2AM...
I have read and done everything suggested, but my problem did not go away.
I was still plagued by stop errors of various kinds. I tried to look up some
more info with my company laptop, and low-and-behold, IT CRASHED!!!!! first

IE7(32bit) and WinXP x64 web surfing
While I'm at it I'd also like to ask. Why does my IE 7 on x64 machine hang
on certain web pages and leave me staring at a blank page website?
Sometimes I refresh and the page comes up. Other times I refresh and

Getting Blue Screen
I have an HP dv9260us laptop. It came with Vista Ultimate x64 and has a
Centrino Duo 2.0 processor. In the past two days I have received two blue
screens where my computer automatically rebooted after dumped the memory to
disk. The blue screen wasn't on long, but I did see the problem was with

Issue with increasing RAM
Recently I built a computer and purchased Windows Vista. I'm running the 64
bit version. To start with I had 1 GB of PC2 - 6400 RAM. My mother board
has 4 slots for RAM and is expandable up to 8GB of RAM. So I went ahead and
purchased 4GB (2 x 2GB) of the same type of RAM to upgrade my memory go 5GB.
However When I put in all 5GB of RAM windows will act like it's booting up

ok i was advised to post this here so here i go with the problem:

Serving web pages
I have my WinXP x64 loaded with two ASP.NET applications. One is a version
1.1 and the other is 2.0. Generally, I use a dynamic DNS service to surf to
my computer and use my personal web applications but in this case I can't.
Apperantly it has to be either one or the other because there is no ASP.NET
property tab in IIS 6.0.
Is this yet another time I have been screwed by M$!!!

I realy do need help with System Restore in Windows XP Pro 64bit

How do I setup a 32 bit IE7 since I'm using a 64 Bit IE7
After value dating my operational system I get the Following screen:"We need
to open a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer. You can still install updates
for your 64-bit version of Windows. However, you need to use a 32-bit version
of the browser to view the website."

Anytime Upgrade to 64-Bit
Hi there, this question is probably quite simple, but if I choose to upgrade
to Vista Ultimate via the Anytime Upgrade - does that include the 64-bit
