Too many activations
"Bill Condie" <billcondie[ at ]hotmail.com> 28.06.2007 03:36:38
I got into a clean Vista re-install frenzy recently with a recalcitrant
Dell, (hopefully now fixed with new mobo, RAM, and HD).

Eventually I got the message that I had too many OneCare activations going
and could not install it.

I've been going around and around with Support on this and cannot seem to
eliminate any of these activations.

So I got my renewal refunded, and eventually signed up again.

TOO MANY ACTIVATIONS still. So I got another refund. No hassle there.

But how can I get rid of these activations? Is there nowhere I can see the
computers it's meant to be installed on? I was able to do something similar
with iTunes.

Thanks, Stephen.

<<If support is cancelling a subscription and
starting a new one to solve it, that's too bad.

Can't blame 'em this time. It was my idea as we were getting nowhere

It's back to AVG meanwhile . .
