Removing a user account
"Mike" <mike600[ at ]DELETETHIShotmail.co.uk> 12.07.2007 14:15:11
Hi

I am working on a clients machine and have a problem I am struggling to find
any help on.

She's recently installed Windows Live Messenger and a username (Hotmail
address) has appeared that is not hers.
She wants this user deleted from the list of available log ins.
I've searched the help section inside Live Messenger and can not find any
reference on how to do this, also, I can't find anything on Google/ Google
groups as well (but have only searched for this group).

She runs a small hotel and the machine is located behind the reception desk
so it is possible that someone (possibly a member of staff) has used it to
use Live Messenger and this is their Hotmail address.

Does anyone know of a way to remove this erroneous username

Mike

Hello,

I assume that that person logged in checking "Remember me". If so, she can
choose that
person's email address in the login screen and click "Forget me" which is
located under the checkbox
that asks if the login information should be saved.

Greetings,
P. Di Stolfo
