I am unable to activate a program in Windows Vista.
I have been in contact with the Music Pprogram but they think there might be
a glitch in Windows Vista. Can anybody Help?
Thank you.

Greetings,

Can you be a little more specific about what application(s) you're referring to and the exact
error message(s) you're seeing? Then we can better redirect your query to those who can
assist.

Hi Jonathan Kay,

Thank you for your response. All I can tell you about this program is:

Fatal Error

First Paragraph:
MP3 Rocket has encountered a fatal internal error and will now exit. This
is generally caused by a corrupted installation. Please try downloading and
installing MP3 Rocket again… I did many times but keep on getting the same
message.

Second Paragraph : To aid with debugging, please click Send to notify MP3
Rocket about the problem. If desired, you can click Review to look at the
information that will be sent.

Send, Review , Discard.

When I click on Review I get the following information:
at com.limegroup. gnutella.gui.IconButton.updateButton(IconButton.java:116)
at com.limegroup. gnutella.gui.IconButton.init.(IconButton.Java:39)

There are about 15 more similar lines.
But if I shall copy all of the Review information I will do this of course.

Thank you again.

Hi,

I see. I'd suggest going here:
http://www.mp3rocket.com/support.htm

As no one in the Windows Live Messenger group is going to know anything about a Java-based
illegal music downloading service.

Re: Cannot activate downloaded program in Vista
Lapaloma 12.07.2007 14:30:00
Hello
According to your answer to my question "cannot activate dowloaded program
in Vista", you give me the imprssion that the Java-based music which I have
paid for is illegal. Can you explain? I do not want to redistribute
anything. I just want to downsload music for personal use from MP3 Rocket
which I cannot activate. I had no problem activating it in Windows XP. I did
try the compatability feature but this was also unsuccsessful.

Thanks.
