Messenger freezes briefly while typing i_ono 12.07.2007 10:24:02 Messenger pauses while typing (as if the system is slowing down but I checked, it's not that). The typical scenario is: Messenger opens as usual, I start typing and first few sentences types fine. Then I start to get a 3 to 5 seconds of a pause where everything freezes and the cursor disappears, every 30 seconds or so. It gets very annoying. This started 2 days ago and I don't know how to solve it. I tried removing/reinstalling Windows Live Messenger but it's still happening. I thought it could be because of the new fan I installed on my graphics card, but everything else works just fine. I would be very grateful for a solution.
