Problem with Sent Messages not being copied to Sent Mail Folder
"Spencer Gung" <skgdkg[ at ]earthlink.net> 07.07.2007 10:43:49
I am running Windows Mail with Vista. I am able to receive and send mail.
However, my problem is my sent messages are not copied to my "Sent Mail"
folder.

I have checked my settings by clicking on Tools>Options>Send> Sending. The
"Save copy of sent messages in the Sent Mail" Items folder" is activated. I
have clicked apply, then OK.

I would appreciate any assistance with this situation.

Regards

Spencer

Please check you haven't "hide read messages" view applied.

There is no "Sent Mail" folder. It is actually called "Sent Items". Are you by
any chance looking in the "Sent Items" under Storage Folders? That one only
keeps copies of sent news posts. (Yes, I know that's confusing!)
In WLM, each account has its own Sent items folder, which can also be
confusing if you have many accounts.

Hi Spencer,

What kind of mail account are
you using to send mails? Is it
Hotmail, or a POP or IMAP
account?

Thanks,
- Hua
