links not working
Oscar Johnson 10.07.2007 13:16:00
Unless IE7 is running in the background, then clicking a link in my email
opens IE7 and a tab says "connecting" with nothing in the status bar and
nothing opens up. Now, If IE7 is running in background, then my links work
fine.......what is wrong here?? I don't remember having this problem in
previous Beta.

I've seen this happen too. Very strange.

Thanks for the feedback!

This has been reported in the
newsgroup before. It seems to
be related with IE7.

Someone suggested unchecking
"Use DDE" in the file
association URL: HTTP
(Control Panel > Folder
options > File types > URL:
Hypertext... >
Advanced). Could you try that
please?

I had also experienced this but it's intermittent. A few times it works =
fine and then most of the time I have the "Connecting... Hang" problem. =
I will try the suggested fix, as long as it doesn't have any side =
effects.

I'm having the same problem. I'm working with support on this issue,so far
they suggested I reinstall WLM. I think I will wait until it comes out of
Beta maybe it will be repaired by then-wishful thinking???
