In OE , when I click on 'create mail'. An entry appears next to the start button stating 'New message'. Clicking on this does not open up a page. I also find that I cannot reply to emails I have received or get a page up to send an email if I click on a contacts name Any ideas please. Peter.

The window might be opening up off-screen.
Right click on New Message on the Taskbar and select Move. Now use the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to full screen size. File | Exit, and Windows will remember the size when you open it again. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA

Following you good tips got the window half way on the screen but cannot see the top right hand corner to regulate the size. however the 'new message' thing is still in tthe task bar and by using this I can click on full size and it appears. AS you say it was opening off screen Thanks Peter.

Grab any place you can to make the window smaller and then go back to the arrows. You should eventually be able to get it to the right size. Remember to close all other windows or the new size won't be remembered. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA
