internet explorer 6, fill in web forms with a keystroke or macro
paulnkathy 12.07.2007 19:30:00
How can I create a macro (F4+CNTRL for example) or other keystrokes, in
Internet Explorer 6 to automatically fill in the password on a web site sign
in page that IE 6 doesn't automatically fill in with the auto "fill in forms"
feature?

There are freeware and shareware programs out there that will do what you
want:
http://www.tucows.com/Windows/Internet/FormFillers/
http://autoformfiller.net/
http://www.formautofiller.com/
http://www.formautofill.com/

If it's just passwords you want to manage:

http://www.accessmanager.co.uk/

Hi paul,

You can use a toolbar button or menu command and use windows scripting to
send the keystrokes to the currently selected control (if its type is
password)

Good luck.

IE7 Extension Development forum (you may find an example here or do a search
for windows scripting)

http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=924&SiteID=1

There is also a shareware products like macroexpress.com (search for
'internet explorer macro')

Regards.
