Folder Redirection
BlueIT <bijal.shah[ at ]bluecg.com> 13.07.2007 21:17:57
First time creating user specific group policy.

I create a policy to redirect users My Documents to a Root Path on a
file server. The following links shows the steps I went about
creating this policy:

http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2004/08/24/folder_redirect.html

Unfortunately, it was decided we rather just have a logon policy
instead to map users to a mapped drive, which can be access through my
computer/explorer.

I want to remove the originally policy but having no luck. Although I
reverted the folder redirection for My Documents to Not Configured, my
user ID still syncs with the Root Path.

The policy is not enforced anymore and reverted Security Filtering
back to Authenticate Users. I specific a group when I originally
created the policy.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
