Recovering files

I downloaded a large file (2.7G) which took 10 hours in Internet Explorer.
In Internet Explorer, the file is downloaded "temporarily", and then when it
is finished downloading, it is copied to the directory you request. My
problem is that I downloaded the file, but when it tried to copy to my
requested location, it ran out of room and stopped. Can I go back and get
the file that it actually downloaded, before it copied the file to the
permanent location?

It's probably still in your Temporary Internet Files folder.
When downloading large files, consider using FireFox. It
saves the files directly to their final destination.

You should consider cleaning up your disk or buying
a larger disk - they cost surprisingly little these days!
