The Checkup Utility will only check for an MPEG2 encoder which will play the DVR-MS files from MCE.
If you are trying to play MOV files, you'll need Quicktime. If you are trying to play Divx files, you'll need the Divx encoder. If you're playing RM files, you'll need Real Player. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows
