Deploying Windows XP with BDD and IMAGEX MichaelMCSA 13.07.2007 19:58:02 Hello I have only three Dell computer platforms on my network. I would like to use IMAGEX to deploy my WIM image to those computers to save time. I do not enjoy bare metal reinstallations. I have created a fully configured reference computer and syspreped it. I used WinPE to capture my wim file to a second hard disk drive. The Wim file has all of the applications and programs installed and configured. I burned my wim file to a CD and tried to apply the image to another system using IMAGEX.When I reboot the system after applying the wim image, the systems returns an error that the kernel is corrupt and that i should contact the administrator. How should I apply an XP wim file from one system to another system and have it work just as GHOST does? thanks
