Can I prevent the stretching?

Hi

When I view my photo's on my PC's 17" TFT monitor, they appear
perfectly Using Windows own 'slideshow' or image viewer, but when I
display them on my Dell widescreen laptop, they appear stretched.

Is there a way to prevent this 'stretching' on the laptop so I can see
them how they should be?
I've tried quite a few of the monitor resolutions/apsects but they all
seem to do the same thing with the image

Thanks
Neil

If you read the documentation that came
with the monitor, it should provide the
recommended Screen Resolution settings.

If the setting you require is not listed...you
may need to update your video driver.
