up-date downloads won't run
johnalangmi 12.07.2007 18:12:02
I recently downloaded an up-date for ZoneAlarm Suite and Adobe reader.
Download went fine until I tried to run them. I got the following message...
AdbeRdr810_en_us.exe is not a valid win 32 application.
The same message with ZA. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

The "...is not a valid win 32 application" message usually means one of
three things:

1 - The file you're attempting to open is corrupt or incomplete. Delete
the file and try downloading and opening it again. Always download the
file directly from the author - not from a third party.
2 - You downloaded a version of the file that is not designed for your
version of Windows.
3 - The necessary application is not installed. You need to have the
appropriate application installed to open the file.
