USB problems Loyd 29.06.2007 20:00:02 I had problems getting my USB flash drive to eject from my computer. I ejected it several times and now my computer will not recongnize my USB flash drive. How do I get it to recognize it now? -- Loyd

Re: USB problems Loyd 30.06.2007 01:16:01 I tried both of these and still nothing happens. I have 2 USB ports on the front of my computer and it acts as if they are not even there. RE: USB problems JC 06.07.2007 15:20:02 I had a similar problem with the USB but in my case when I plugged in a flash drive it locked up the computer. I knew it wasn't a hardware problem because some things worked in the USB but other things such as a flash drive or external hard drive didn't If you don't always "safely remove" the hardware that you connect to a USB and you just unplug it you can mess up the drivers. Someone advised me to uninstall all the USB drivers in safe mode then reboot the computer and let Windows Xp automatically recognize the USBs and it will reinstall the drivers.
