push printer works then doesn't
"John" <jadams[ at ]nospam.nospam> 10.07.2007 19:40:34

I have found that using the 2003R2 method to push printers to clients was
working ok from one GP, so I tried to add it to another and could not figure
out what may be different. Finally i thought maybe i had used the gp
management tool from my local pc origionally instead of from the server, so
I removed it and then re-added using the local editor the suddenly it
started working. Either way I think I did the same thing. Could there be
something different about the tool locally than on the server or is it most
likely coincidence?

It's working now so I'm not going back to find out if reversing the process
breaks it again. All I can say is, I don't think I did anything different
other than using the pc instead of the server and now it works. I thought
maybe there is some update that needs to be applied to the server (I do keep
it up to date on critical updates though).
