Not simply disabled in Menu Items, the whole thing has disappeared. How to
re-instate the facility?

To re-install Help:
Open the folder c:\windows\inf and right-click the PCHealth.inf file,
then choose "Install". If you have a Service Pack installed, select
c:\windows\i386\ServicePackFiles\PCHealth.inf instead.

Note that this type of question has nothing to do with the Windows
file system and would attract more replies if posted in
windowsxp.general.

Humble apologies Pegasus, you are right of course. Perhaps posting as a
newbie and when half asleep is not advisable. Thank you kindly for your
informed help. krobbie.

No apology required - I'm just trying to suggest where you
might get help more quickly.
