No Video during playback - Audio Works reb0968 12.07.2007 00:04:02 When trying to play a project I'm working on, the screen stays black but the audio works. I read some other posts and tried converting to .avi. But when I import the .avi clip I get an error that I don't have the correct codec installed. However, I can play a .avi file outside of WMM. When I covert my file (which is originaly QTime) to .wmv and import, the video is cut up into a lot of different files, which none will play at all and the viewing screen turns green. I originally converted the files to .mpg and was having no problem at all. Then awhile ago the problem popped up with a black screen with the audio working. Any ideas? Thanks.

Now I can import the avi file but it cuts it up into several clips and the screen is just green. For the green screen...try reducing your Graphics Hardware Acceleration. If an improvement is realized...you need to download and install an updated video driver. That took care of the problems when trying to watch imbedded video on the net. I'll try to update my video driver. If you don't know the make and model of your video adapter...check the documentation that came with the computer. Also you could try these steps... Go to...Start / Run...type... msinfo32 ...press enter. On the System Information screen...choose... Components / Display... You should find the make and model of your display adapter as well as the driver version. If the driver on the support website is more current than the one you are running... download it and install it.
