First thing to try is a System Restore. You can get to System Restore by clicking Start, then Help & Support, then Undo changes to my computer using System Restore.
Then restore back to a day when it was working. This should generally rule out a software problem, although if possible, give the camera another go on another PC to make sure the device itself hasn't failed.
