USB 1.1 built in and 2.o on pci card A few weeks ago I tried to plug a new thumb drive in and it was not recognised and what ever I did I could not get it to load drivers. Not from any location or cd. If I plug an existing and already installed device into another USB port it will also not work and be unrecognised. I have manually installed new drivers but when I direct the USB device to it through device manger it will not see it. Its like windows has lost its ability to see the USB drivers even though they are clearly there?? have practically worn my fingers out googling and still not any nearer to fixing it? please help
