Speed up importing registry data into component designer
Daniele <daniele.pagliani[ at ]seac02.it> 10.07.2007 15:43:27
Hello everybody,
I am a newby in WinXPE and I am creating a component of an application.
I have used InCtrl5 in order to track alla changes that occur on the
system after the installation. In the report ther is a huge ammount of
keys added and I haven't found a way in order to import quickly all
those keys. Is the "add Registry Branch" the only way to do this? Does
it exist a method to use the InCtrl5 Report in order to import whole set
of registry keys?

Any help will be appreciated.

My company offers a different tool called Component Helper
(http://www.sjjmicro.com/XPES_Tools_R2.html) which can capture the registery
files in a .REG file.

Thank you, I read about it yet and I hope it will be next XPE purchase
of my company. At the moment a little script I wrote can be enough.
