I want to implement the "devcon remove" functionality into my application to
remove disks (USB, HDD, CDROM). I guess it's the SetupDiRemoveDevice
function. My current code works on my XP workstation, but not on a W2K
system. If i run "devcon remove" on a W2k system everything works fine, so i
guess my code is missing something important. Beside this i've noticed that
with either "devcon remove" or SetupDiRemoveDevice the device is not safly
removed, because the safe remove icon remains on the tray bar. Is there any
code example to this problem? I didn't find something useful on the internet
