msconfig.exe keeps recreating itself
Garry 10.07.2007 23:48:00
renamed msconfig.exe to msconfig.bak as spybot suggested it was a "bad"
program...as soon as I renamed it it recreated msconfig.exe...but when I run
msconfig from the start>run window it points at the .bak file....
Unable to delete the new msconfig.exe and rename .bak fast enough.

HELP

Figured out a solution...not the best one...
ran msconfig from the run window...
brings up a suggested list of programs to run it as it is not recognized...
browse to the newly created msconfig.exe and selected it...
Should msconfig.exe be located in \windows\pchealth\binaries? seems
unusual...but that is where Spybot found it

I have never seen spybot mark that file, it is a valid Windows executable,
and that is the correct location.
