Splitting Audio Clips

How can I split a 60 minute clip that is in one track into smaller but more
tracks? Movie Maker can split them but won't alow me to store them as audio
clips

If it's windows media audio content, you can use the a tool in the
free windows media encoder package to do that.

Inside the installed program directory is a utility called windows
media file editor. That can chop the start and end off a track.


If you have MP3 or WAV audio, you're better with a more general tool
such as Audacity audio editor, free from here
