This is a brand new dell. When I play my media player it skips at the end of
every song and fades back in. My media center is fine, It plays well. My
dell people take way too long and I have tried twice by phone.

You have a problem with your audio drivers. On the page below, follow
the 2 steps (1) update drivers and (2) disable enhancements
