Safari & Mozilla WMP Plugin ?
Matthieu <mattfr_at_chez_dot_com[ at ]foo.com> 16.06.2007 14:11:38
Hi,

I started using Flip4Mac WMV plugin with a lot of deception,
especially for the poor quality of its interface, the lack of being
able to play fullscreen whenever you want it, and especially the
unstability with streaming movies which leads to poor buffering and
the impossibility toscroll smoothly through the movie.

So I've taken the solution the other way round chronologically and got
myself WMP9 which solves all problems mentioned above. The
disappointing thing is, that it seems the Safari & Mozilla plugin for
embedding WMP9 in Web pages does not work, and I can't find any
preference/optionenabling it for good.

By any chance, would there be here someone that has succeeded in doing
this ?

Thanks in advance,

I'm trying a new usenet client for Mac, Nemo OS X.
You can download it at http://www.malcom-mac.com/nemo

Sure - it *can* work fine. However most webmasters don't bother to
test with FF/Safari on Mac, and their embedding code is broken.

Unless it's your own site, there's not much you can do about it.

Cheers - Neil
