ASF, WMP9, Mac PPC and Proxy problems "Nick" <g2k[ at ]condenast..co.uk> 15.06.2007 08:25:01 Hi, I'm trying to get streaming media working on a mac Power PC (OSX) from within a corporate LAN. All traffic is passed to a (Blue Coat) n proxy server and then forwarded out. I have downloaded F4M and I think I'm getting closer to the answer.. just not quite there. As opposed to receiving a 'not recognized' message I now just get a white box and I'm seeing the connection on our proxy logs to, say, the bbc but I just can't get the vid to play. It's like the connection is initiated and then dropped/lost. It seems to me that it's either the proxy not knowing where to send the stream to or the mac not knowing that it should still be listening... Ask any questions if you want to know more. Did you enter all the proper proxy information in the Network prefpane (including ports)??
