I really doubt it.
WMP for Mac was officially decleared dead a few years ago. I wouldn't
expect any update on this front anytime soon (read ever).
Actually, I think we're better of with the FLip4Mac codecs. I just wish
MS would let them bring DRM support as well :-\

MS has never told us anything in this forums in the several years I've
been visiting it. THe WMP people have been less than communicating. I
wouldn't hold my breath for any kind of announcement here,
Between you and me, I doubt they have any plan for that.
