No Video Display jerry d. 14.06.2007 00:22:00 Windows XP Home Edition. Problem occures with both Media Player 10 and 11. PROBLEM: I get no viedo display when attempting to play DVD's, email with video attchment, or web site videos. The Windows Media Payer appears and plays the audio portion but the video screen is a purple square, no images. My computer knowledge is, novice. --jerry d.

It seems the problem only occurs when using a ..avi file extension... You should repost in one of the regular WMP groups (it's not that I don't want to give you then answer: I simply don't use WMP on WIndows and I don;t know the answer:-\ ).
