Media Sharing WMP 11 100% CPU
Steve.Giordano 04.07.2007 12:42:00
I'm running WMP 11 and as soon as I started sharing my media on my home LAN
the wmpnetwk.exe process takes up a considerable amount of CPU cycles. Is
there a fix for this?

Wrong email address to notify me of replies. Sorry about that. Please let
me know if there are any fixes to this problem with WMP 11. Thanks.

No, that is normal behaviour for wmpnetwk. It's worth checking your
firrewall, and disabling it briefly though, to see if that has any
influence.
