I've recently bought an HP Pavillion which came with a Vista version of
Windows media player. I'm slowly getting there - and have been able to
connect an HP Windows Smartphone - using Mobile Centre to sync diaries,
contacts, etc. But, although that means I know my mobile device is connected
- it cannot be seen in Windows Media - so I cannot sync any music files to
the mobile device. I did also load TomTom home onto the HP pavillion - and
wonder whether I've caused some strange sync share problem. Anyway - no
matter what I do, I can't get media player to recognise the mobile device -
even though it's correctly syncing with Outlook.
