Hi,
I was wondering if I could get some help.
I cannot stand WMP11 Beta for the life of me. I just don't plain like it, so I rolled back to WMP10.
Now, I downloaded a file with a license and have tried to play it, to no avail.
What's the problem.
There isn't even a folder for DRM involving WMP.
What should I do?
Do I need to go back to WMP11? Can I avoid Beta?

I'm as baffled by your problem description as you are about WMP Beta. The release to market version of media player 11 has been about for over a year. I suggest you remove the Beta using add/remove programs, as well as the windows media format 11 runtime in the same place.
Then install the full WMP11 release, from this page : http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
Once you have a clean start there, we can have a go at debugging whatever problem you might be having.

So, I have to go back to WMP 11--AGAIN.
Great.
I'll try it.
Thanks for your help.

Yeah, no surprise.
It didn't work.
I'm trying to figure out when it disappeared.
Strange.
Any ideas?

You haven't really explained what problem you're having, only that you tried to rollback to WMP10, and that "something didn't work" (I have no idea what though because you've not said)
Try explaining what you're trying to do, and what problem symptoms or error messages you are seeing.

And how did you rollback? Through System Restore or the entry point in the Add/Remove Control Panel? The latter should work better in this scenario, but the beta uninstall/rollback was of course inferior to that of WMP11 RTM.
