I have media player 11 and am running Vista. whenever I click on a website
link, to view online video, the streaming video doesn't work and I keep
getting the following error message:
“Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is
not supported. In the Open URL dialog, try opening the file using a different
transport protocol (for example, ‘mms:’ or 'http:')†I have the latest
updates and I have checked the protocol settings and they are OK (HTTP:
Browse and RTSP: None) I have tried everything...Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
