WMP11 Quit working.
Michael 05.07.2007 18:02:03
I don't know what happend here, but WMP11 quit working on my hp 6030N. Now,
it does work under a different profile, but will not work under my profile.

Not sure what to do, and I am NOT interested in switching profiles.

I really want it back, because quite honestly i find it to be the best mp3
player out there are the moment.

I have a new Sony Vaio laptop and my version stopped working too. I have not
found a way to get it to work and there isn't a way (that I know of) that
allows you to reinstall version 11.

When I try to reinstall the program I'm told I have the latest on my system.

I managed to fix mine the day after i posted. It required installed a codec
pack called Vistacodecs_V477. during the instilation it un-installed DIVX
which i though i had already un-installed. You can find this codec pak at
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5326

Good luck!

Really? What fault bucket--
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket
were you getting for the previous crash? (Same question to you MarkSky.)

Since the DivX crashes are mostly known, the fault buckets should already be
matched up with the solutions here (Don't Run Old Broken Versions of DivX).
I'm surprised the error response system didn't bring that to your attention.
