Slow performance in IE on Vista "Steve Grosz" <boise_bound[ at ]hotmail.com> 12.07.2007 18:34:27 Why is IE so darn slow when it comes to connecting to web sites, and downloading. Currently we have a AMD 64-bit processor running at about 2 gig, and 1 gig of memory so that shouldn't be the problem. What can I do to improve the IE performance? And switching to Mozilla isn't the best way to go right now.... in case anyone is going to suggest that..... :) Thanks!

Re: Slow performance in IE on Vista Gideon_CC 13.07.2007 09:06:04 Yes, there are plugins which can cause them to slow down. If you have Skype, then remove that button from toolbar. Google Toolbar can also slow performance and it's rubbish anyway. Basically remove all extra toolbars and plugins to test - then add the ones you really want and see which one causes the slow performance.
