Ok... have new Laptop with Vista and Windows mail.
Have set up E-mail account, no probs.
In the bottom left hand corner, mail says... Working Online.
I create mail and click send....
The mail appears in Outbox, in bold type and nothing.....
If I click on send/recieve, nothing happens, then after a delay, the e-mail changes from bold to standard text.
No error message, no anything.....
It just doesn't do anything....
LMAO.... If the button were a real button I would swear there were no wires connected....
Sooooo..... Can anyone help with an error which doesn't seem to exist, and a send/recieve button, which doesn't send??
Oh... BTW.... I removed Symantec Intenret Security... and used their removal tool as well.....
There is now, no anti-virus or anything else on the machine...

Symantec may have corrupted the account while that antivirus was still installed. Try recreating that mail account, then delete the old account. If it still does not work, and there is an undeletable message in the outbox, use the Clear Outbox button of WMUtil: http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx

I ran WMUtil and it said the database was corrupted and then it fixed it...
I started Mail again and same problem occurred... no sending...
I ran WMUtil again, same response database corrupted and fixed...
I did this circle a couple of times, but then the next time I statrted Mail, it said the database had been corrupted by a third party application???
Hmm... Any further ideas?
